Your Israel Family Vacation Itinerary
Fun, safe and well-paced days for children of every age, planned by hand around your family.

An Israel family vacation itinerary that works for kids
Traveling with children changes everything: naps, snacks, short attention spans and the need to move. A good Israel family vacation itinerary respects that and still gives adults a trip to enjoy. We design each plan around the ages of your children and the rhythm of your family.
Instead of squeezing in every famous site, we pick a few that kids will remember, and we add playtime, swimming and plenty of downtime. That is how a family trip stays fun for everyone.
Things to do in Israel with kids
01
Float in the Dead Sea
Children are amazed by how easily they float. Combine a short swim with the nearby Ein Gedi nature reserve, where easy trails lead to pools and waterfalls and animals like ibex are often seen.
02
Hands-on museums and zoos
Haifa's science museum, Madatech, lets children experiment and play, while Jerusalem's Biblical Zoo is a good half-day for animal lovers. We choose indoor options as a backup for hot or rainy days.
03
Water, beaches and boats
Tel Aviv's beaches, boat rides on the Sea of Galilee and snorkeling in Eilat all give kids a break from sightseeing. We plan water time after busier mornings to keep energy up.
04
Adventure with age guidance
The Rosh Hanikra cable car, jeep rides in the desert and stargazing in Mitzpe Ramon suit school-age children and older. For toddlers, we choose gentler options such as farm visits and playgrounds.
Age-by-age planning
Toddlers and preschoolers do best with one main activity per day, short drives and a hotel with a pool. We plan for nap times and keep strollers in mind, and we stay in one or two bases instead of changing hotels daily.
Children aged six to twelve can handle a fuller day with a mix of nature, hands-on activities and one or two historical stops told as stories. Teenagers can join bigger adventures and more history, and we involve them in choosing parts of the route.
Sample 7-day family route
Days 1 to 2: Tel Aviv beach, Jaffa and a hands-on activity, with an easy first day to beat jet lag.
Days 3 to 4: Jerusalem, with a short Old City walk, a tunnel visit and the Biblical Zoo.
Day 5: Dead Sea float and Ein Gedi trails.
Days 6 to 7: Galilee, with a boat ride, a stream hike and a farm lunch, then back for departure.
We adapt the plan to your children's ages, your budget and the time of year, and we always add a flexible backup for tired days.
Family travel questions
Is Israel suitable for young children?
Yes, many families travel here with babies and toddlers. The country is compact, so drives are short, and many sites have easy access. We plan around naps and meals, and advise on what to bring.
How do you keep kids interested at historical sites?
We keep visits short, tell stories instead of lists of dates, and add something hands-on, such as exploring tunnels, climbing a fort or an archaeological dig for kids. Fun stops follow immediately after.
Can you arrange a private guide for the family?
Yes. A private guide can adapt each day to your children's mood and energy. Many guides love working with families and know how to make history exciting for different ages.
